Best Hand Cream Around
Allow Me to Tell You My Story of Discovery
Incredible Homemade Hand Cream Can Work Wonders on Skin.
Here is My Story:
Hi. My name is Jamie. I have a confession. I have terribly dry, cracked, and what can be described as reptile hands (scaly) - especially during the winter months. It doesn't really matter what I do, I cannot keep my hands moist enough to keep them from cracking, which also makes them irritable, and sometimes itchy. I even have a few small patches of eczema on one of my upper arms that flares up during these dry winter months. Here is some ugly photo proof. I have not altered this photo in any way. What you cannot see in the photo, is the fact that my hand is incredibly close to cracking and bleeding. (Do you know how that feels?)
Well, several years ago, a dairy farmer lady named Lucy, who lived in our community introduced me and my mom to some homemade hand cream that she had made (it does not contain dairy or animal products, alcohols, or petroleum). She had gotten the recipe somewhere and made it. Since they were dairy farmers, they also had terrible hands - dry and cracked - from working outside and with the cows all day. The hand cream she gave to us this day was not near as good as the hand cream she makes today, but I used it and it did help to soothe my dry, cracked and even scaly skin. It was amazing! The itching left. It even helped soften my eczema. And I only had to apply the hand cream a few times during the day - on the worst days. On the mediocre days, I only had to apply it once or twice. That was fantastic. I was amazed that I didn't have to apply the skin cream after every time I washed my hands. The stuff actually soaked into my skin and was moisturizing it, unlike most other creams I had tried.
Recently, I've even used Geneva Springs Skin Creams on my face as a moisturizer. It works wonderfully! I don't feel greasy throughout the day, where on a normal day, I do experience greasy spots. I love this hand and skin cream. I will not go without it. I carry one with me almost everywhere I go. If only you could reach through the screen to sample a little bit, you could realize this little bit goes a long way to help nourish your skin.
Just so you know, I have a male carpenter/contractor friend who cannot live without this hand cream. My husband uses it regularly. So, this is not just some girly cold cream.
Did you know that wood, fabric, dirt, and paper are among the worst things for "stealing" moisture from your skin. The moisture is just sucked out of your skin and transferred to the wood, fabric or paper you are working with. Quilters, carpenters, wood crafters, gardeners, farmers, and office personnel, beware! You are at risk for super-dry, painfully cracked, and embarrassingly scaly skin.
Well, Lucy has been making this hand cream for over 30 years and has perfected this handmade hand cream to make the best hand cream around. Still, she does not use alcohol, petroleum, dairy or animal products. She uses essential oils in some of the scents. And we cannot expose all of her secrets - Lucy has a few other tricks up her sleeve to ensure the hand cream is the best for helping nourish dry, cracked, rough, and even discolored (stained) skin. (Learn more about essential oils here. Did you know that essential oils and aromatherapy can be a great source of relaxation and stress relief to your tired, overworked body.)
Since then, Lucy has also developed a fantastic lip balm that nourishes your lips - you might find that you don't have to use as much as other chapsticks. She also makes bath salts using pure essential oils. (Talk about stress relief - try an aromatic bath salt to put your stressed mind at ease for even a few moments to refresh yourself and give you an enlightened perspective.)
I love this stuff. Try it - you just might love it, too.
