1. What scent should I choose?

Well, that depends, so, here is my best advice. You will need to answer the following questions:
    a. Do you like flower scents, citrus scents, or vanilla?
         Flower scents are: generally named after flowers.
         Vanilla scents have the word vanilla in the name.
         Citrus scents include: love's spell (type) and l'orange crush - as well as other similarly citrusy names.
         Or we do offer a truly unscented cream for those who do not like fragrance or who cannot tolerate it.

    b. Do you need the benefits of a certain essential oil?
         The essential oils we use are: peppermint, spearmint, orange, and lavender.

    c. Do you wear much perfume or cologne?
        If you do, you might prefer to use a complimentary scent or choose the unscented versions. They truly are unscented.
          For example, if I wear a perfume, I wear Clinique Happy and compliment it with the Geneva Springs L'Orange Crush scent.

2. How strong are the scents?

I suppose that depends on how sensitive your nose is. I cannot wear very many scents without getting a headache. But somehow, I can wear most of these and I am fine. They really are not that strong.

3. What are the ingredients?

Mountain spring water, Glycerin USP, Stearic acid, Emulsiying wax NF, White Cocoa Butter (Theobrama Cacao Seed Butter), Fragrance [in most], Propylene glycol, Dizolidinyl urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, may contain: FD&C blue 1, D&C red 33, FC&C yellow 5.

4. How and Where do I use it?

I simultaneously dip three fingertips lightly into the skin cream to get just a little skin cream on each one, then I start rubbing it into my skin. If I need more after that, I just get and apply a little at a time. If your skin feels greasy, then you either used too much, or you need to wait just one mintue for it to soak into your skin, then you should be fine.

This cream is excellent for all types of skin - dry and irritated to oily skin and from rough spots (elbows, knees, heels) to baby skin to women's faces. Try it and let us know what you did and how it worked. We would love to hear about it.

Remember, please keep the products from Geneva Springs AWAY from heat sources (including the sun on a hot day). The skin creams and lip balms will melt.
Otherwise, you just need to remember the Geneva Springs slogan: "A Little Goes a Long Way..."

p.s. You should not eat it, stick it in your nose, or in your eyes. It should only be used for external skin surfaces.

4. Why should I choose Geneva Springs Skin Creams, Bath Salts & Mrs. Tulips' Lip Balm products?

Geneva Springs products are made with natural ingredients. Just look at the amount of alcohols (these dry your skin) and petroleum products (these create a protective repellant layer on your skin - this doesn't allow any moisture to soak in) that are used in other skin creams and lotions. You will not find them here. In fact, many people who have skin irritations, or allergies to certain things, are able to use Geneva Springs Skin Creams and even Mrs. Tulips' Lip Balms. If you are really concerned about using it because of sensitivity, the unscented skin cream has absolutely no fragrance or color in it. The only "extra" thing it has is less than 1% of the cream consists of a preservative to kill bacteria, as required by law. Dare to compare!
